Poor cooker hood performance can be caused by the foam/paper filter being clogged with grease,these foam/paper filters can easily be changed by clipping down the cover and removing the filter.
The new filter is normally cut to size.We always have these in stock.If your filter is the permanent/aluminium type then you can soak it in hot soapy water or you can give it a run in the dishwasher.It is also important that if a vent hose is fitted that the correct size hose is used.If a hose smaller than the correct size is fitted then this will reduce the performance of the hood and will also make the unit noisier than it should be.
